Nestled in the outskirts of the desert, Doha is a world apart from the birthplaces of breakdancing: the Bronx, Harlem and and the Parisian suburbs. Even the capital of Qatar, one of the wealthiest cities in the world, could not resist hip-hop culture’s powerful call.
Hailing from Romania, Turkey, Pakistan, Sudan, Oman and Egypt, the Mighty Jokerz Crew introduced break-dancing in the most unlikely of places and took it to the next level, expressing their imagination beyond borders. The only language that matters to them is dance. Here’s their ode to an art born to break the barriers.
